Terms of Use

These Terms of Use set forth the conditions for using the exhibition information platform operated by ISB Marketing, Ltd.

Article 1 (Definitions)

These Terms of Use define the following terms as they are used herein.

  1. “Service” means the exhibition information platform operated by ISB Marketing, Ltd., currently referred to as “Exhibition PF (Temporary Name),” and all services associated with it.
  2. “Published Information” means information posted on the Service, including the names, dates, venues, organizer information, descriptions, translated and categorized data of exhibitions, trade fairs, business meetings, and other events (collectively, “Exhibitions”), as well as announcements, blog posts, and other information related to the Service.
  3. “Organizer” means any corporation, organization, or other entity that organizes, operates, or manages an Exhibition listed on the Service.

Article 2 (Purpose and Content of the Service)

The Service is primarily intended to provide users with information on industrial exhibitions and other events, as well as information useful for exhibiting at or visiting such events. Industrial exhibitions provide opportunities not only for business discussions and sales promotion, but also for discovering new products and services. Through the Service, we aim to help users develop their businesses by effectively utilizing exhibitions.

To achieve the purpose described above, the Service provides functions including browsing and searching for Exhibition information, displaying related information, and submitting inquiries.

Article 3 (Collection of Information)

The information published on the Service is collected from publicly available information, including information provided on Exhibition venue and organizer websites, press releases, and other sources, information provided by organizers and related organizations, and support information independently prepared by ISB Marketing.

To improve convenience for users, the Service uses an industry classification master independently developed by ISB Marketing based on open data, including the Japan Standard Industrial Classification published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

Article 4 (Use of Linked Websites)

The information published on the Service may contain links to official websites of organizers and other external websites. When users access or use such linked websites, they shall comply with the terms of use and privacy policies of those websites.

Users are requested to directly check the official websites operated by the relevant organizers for the latest information, application requirements, detailed content, and other information concerning Exhibitions.

Article 5 (Modification and Deletion of Published Information)

ISB Marketing may modify or delete information published on the Service without prior notice to users if any of the following circumstances apply:

(1) When ISB Marketing determines that the information published on the Service is inaccurate or inappropriate.
(2) When the information may violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals.
(3) When a claim of infringement of rights has been made.
(4) When ISB Marketing determines that such action is necessary for the operation of the Service.

ISB Marketing shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users as a result of such measures.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

  1. ISB Marketing does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, usefulness, or other aspects of the information published on the Service. ISB Marketing shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users as a result of inaccurate information or sudden changes to Exhibition details by organizers, including cancellation, postponement, or changes to venues. Exhibition dates, venues, and details may be changed or cancelled by organizers. Users should check the official information provided by the relevant organizer for the latest information.
  2. ISB Marketing shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages incurred by users or third parties as a result of using, or being unable to use, the Service.
  3. ISB Marketing shall not be liable for the content of external websites linked from the Service or for any damages arising from the use of such websites.

Article 7 (Intellectual Property Rights)

  1. All copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights relating to the text, images, programs, database structures, industry classification systems, tag systems, search keywords, and other components of the Service belong to ISB Marketing or the respective legitimate rights holders. Users may not reproduce, use, or otherwise exploit all or any part of the Service without the prior written consent of ISB Marketing.
  2. Users may not reproduce, republish, publicly transmit, modify, or use the content of the Service for distribution purposes without the prior written consent of ISB Marketing.

Article 8 (Requests for Correction or Deletion of Exhibition Information)

  1. Organizers may request correction or deletion of information concerning their own Exhibitions published on the Service by submitting a request through the designated inquiry form.
  2. Upon receiving such a request from an Organizer, ISB Marketing shall promptly verify the relevant facts and take appropriate and reasonably prompt action.

Article 9 (Prohibited Activities)

Users shall not engage in any of the following activities when using the Service:

  1. Activities that violate, or may violate, applicable laws, regulations, or public order and morals.
  2. Activities that infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, reputation, or other rights of ISB Marketing, other users, Organizers, or third parties.
  3. Activities that impose an excessive load on the servers, network systems, or other infrastructure of the Service, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Service.
  4. Extracting, collecting, or mining large amounts of information or data from the Published Information or databases of the Service using automated means, including crawlers, scraping tools, robots, spiders, or similar tools, without the prior written consent of ISB Marketing.
  5. Unauthorized access or activities similar thereto.
  6. Unfairly exploiting or infringing upon the rights or interests of others.
  7. Any other activities that ISB Marketing determines to be inappropriate.

Article 10 (Suspension, Modification, and Termination of the Service)

ISB Marketing may suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service without prior notice to users if any of the following circumstances apply:

(1) When maintenance, inspection, or updates of the systems or infrastructure related to the Service are required.
(2) When it becomes difficult to provide the Service due to force majeure, including earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances.
(3) When ISB Marketing otherwise determines that suspension or discontinuation of the Service is appropriate.

ISB Marketing may modify the content of the Service or terminate the provision of the Service without prior notice to users. In the event of termination, ISB Marketing will endeavor to notify users in advance through the Service or by another method deemed appropriate.

ISB Marketing shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users as a result of measures taken pursuant to this Article.

Article 11 (Handling of Personal Information)

ISB Marketing shall appropriately handle personal information obtained from users, including names, company names, email addresses, and other information entered through inquiry forms, in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Article 12 (Changes to These Terms of Use)

  1. ISB Marketing may change these Terms of Use without obtaining the consent of users when it determines that such changes are necessary.
  2. The revised Terms of Use shall become effective when they are posted on the Service. If a user continues to use the Service after the Terms of Use have been revised, the user shall be deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms of Use.

Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
  2. Any dispute arising between ISB Marketing and a user in connection with the Service or these Terms of Use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

Supplementary Provision: These Terms shall take effect on September 1, 2026.
